We want to see you thrive.
Mental health… is not a destination, but a process. It’s about how you drive, not where you’re going.

Our Mission
At Harmony Rising, we walk alongside individuals on their journey to healing and emotional freedom. Guided by compassion and clinical expertise, we integrate neuroscience-informed care, therapeutic movement, and trauma-informed strategies to help people heal from trauma, reset their nervous systems, and break generational cycles.
We work with women, men, and adolescents to build self-awareness, release patterns that no longer serve them, and create lasting transformation in how they relate to themselves, others, and the world around them.
Our Vision
We envision a world where individuals discover the power of healing through the body — using movement and connection to reset the nervous system and open the door to lasting transformation of the mind and spirit. At Harmony Rising, we see emotionally resilient individuals, thriving families, and connected communities empowered to live with clarity, peace, and authenticity. Our vision is to make healing accessible, break generational cycles, and create a legacy of wellness that endures across lifetimes.
Hi, I’m Telisa Dixon, LCSW
Telisa Dixon, LCSW, is a licensed psychotherapist and founder of Harmony Rising Therapy & Consulting. With 20 years of experience, she helps individuals, couples, professionals, and organizations create meaningful, sustainable transformation rooted in nervous system regulation, emotional intelligence, and clinical insight.
Throughout her career, Telisa has worked extensively within mental health, family systems, supportive housing, nonprofit leadership, and community-based programming. She helps people identify the emotional, behavioral, and relational patterns shaping how they communicate, lead, connect, and live.
Clinically, Telisa specializes in trauma recovery, anxiety, emotional regulation, burnout, relationship dynamics, self-worth, and nervous system regulation. Her approach is built on a single principle: Body Up. Brain Down.
Healing begins in the body, not in the mind. Rooted in Polyvagal Theory, she helps clients restore autonomic safety, build neuroception of safety, and widen their window of tolerance so emotional regulation becomes possible rather than forced. From that foundation she draws on somatic techniques, breathwork, attachment awareness, and neuroscience informed care, along with the Gottman Method for couples and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a supporting tool, to help clients move beyond survival mode and develop healthier ways of responding and connecting.
Telisa is especially passionate about helping high functioning women, couples, helping professionals, and leaders who appear successful on the outside but feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, exhausted, or stuck in chronic survival patterns. Her work helps clients move from relying on external anchors like productivity, achievement, and validation to building the kind of internal safety that holds under pressure, along with emotional clarity, clearer boundaries, and sustainable patterns that endure.
In addition to her clinical work, Telisa brings extensive experience in staff development, emotional intelligence training, crisis intervention, leadership support, program development, workplace communication, and organizational wellness. Her clinical training in nervous system regulation gives her a rare ability to recognize when teams are operating in collective survival mode and to lead them out of it. She trains and supports professionals, teams, and organizations in strengthening emotional awareness, communication dynamics, de-escalation practices, and healthier workplace culture.
Known for her grounded, compassionate, and direct approach, Telisa creates spaces where people feel both supported and challenged toward growth. Whether she is working with therapy clients, leadership teams, or helping professionals, her work rests on one core belief: lasting transformation happens when people learn to regulate, heal, and respond intentionally rather than simply survive. This is where internal regulation meets external impact.
